Leipziger Münzhandlung und Auktion Heidrun Höhn e. K. was founded on July 1, 1990, by Heidrun Höhn in Leipzig’s Katharinenstraße. What began as a small family business has, over the past 35 years, grown into one of the largest and most renowned auction houses for numismatics in the new federal states—and ranks among the top five in Germany.
From our first auction in June 1991 with over 2,500 lots to today, we regularly host international in-room auctions featuring up to 4,000 objects, as well as modern e-live auctions that allow collectors worldwide to bid live online.
Our company headquarters at Nikolaistraße 25 offers a specially designed auction hall accommodating up to 60 guests, extensive office space, and a numismatic reference library. Here, tradition and modern standards come together in consultation, sales, and auctions.
